I've had the mat for a little over a week now. So far so good! It can take the abuse from fat hits(I test this feature often!).
The Spornia net (7') is really the optimum size for my setup. Super simple to put up.
I'll be able to practice all winter with this setup(Garmin R10 launch monitor) in my RV barn. Here in Idaho there's about a 2 to 3 month period where outside golf is not practical.
Hopefully this will allow me to improve my ball striking for next season.
Bought for winter simulator in garage and went with Dura-Pro Bundle. Delivery was fast and correct. As far as mat and net, only used twice so far, but i am impressed. Mat is thick and seems like it will last for a very long time. Net is quick and easy to set up and tear down and again, seems like it is quality made and should enjoy it for hopefully years. Sim screen i would rate as just mediocre for clarity, but for $60 cant expect the world. Certainly works just fine, just hard to see numbers, but that could be the projector as well. Would love for Spornia to offer upgraded sim screen for $50 more, would put package over the top. My very early review is quality product i would recommend.
The XL-8 is perfect. I have absolutely no issues hitting full wedges into the net and the product is very high quality. I would absolutely recommend!!!
I’ve now had the Spornia SG8 Net/Mat combo for two weeks, and we love it. We bought them for our High School Team in Wisconsin so we can practice indoors over the winter, and I can tell they are durable enough to withstand the abuse they will likely take. The mats are also very high quality, and provide a very realistic feel.
I had some back and forth with a customer service rep prior to purchasing to ask some questions. They were prompt in their response, and very helpful with their answers to my questions. On top of that, they provide a Veteran discount, which is a nice way to do a little more than just a Thank-You for the sacrifice of our Vets.
Been hitting short shots off the mat for a couple of weeks and it's super plush. Clearly a well made indoor hitting surface. Haven't been able to hit into the net yet as I'm waiting for a snowbird to vacate a garage, but I have no doubts it will be everything I need.
