I ordered the SPG-7 and Commercial Strike Mat:
The Net: So far so good, it takes everything you can hit at it as it seems. I am using it solely in my garage, so although I expect it to holdup very well over time, it will be interesting to see how it holds up given I put it up and take it down each time I use it. The put up and take down is ridiculously simple, takes 2-3 mins each way, don't let that be the thing holding you up at all.
Mat: the mat is plush, but I don't think it's too soft as some reviews had noted before. It does give some good grab at the club when you "fat" a shot, which is a nice feeling. I roll it up each time and so far it still lays flat each time after a few mins.
Overall: quite happy with the purchase, though I will see how things are looking after a year or so of use.
I’m loving my practice net and mat. My son pushed me to get it and he was right, we needed it. It’s easy enough to install and take down, and the convenience of walking into the yard and hitting some balls is fantastic. Quality of the product is very good and looks like it will hold up for quite some time.
The net is awesome and I have nothing to say but great things .
The net performs just as it was reviewed on YouTube. I am enjoying it with no issues.
I just started using the white target sheet as a key part of my garage golf simulator setup and it's been working great. Just set the projector to 4:3 and you're good to go. Only took a couple minutes to swap out the target sheets and that was that.
Super easy to put up and take down. Fits great in my garage and is so nice to walk by and hit a few balls several times a day. Especially like how net feeds ball back to you. Highly recommend.
I was told that this is the best bang for you buck net, but I am very dissatisfied with it. It had a ton of trouble standing up, it would always lean to one side, and when wind would come, it would collapse. I tried to fix this by tightening it, and the strap to tighten it just easily "ripped" off the net, and now does not work. I contacted support days ago, and still have not heard from them. Now with how many days it has been since submitting return, I am past my warranty.
There was learning curve on how to set it up and pack it away. After a few sessions, it got easier. The construction is sturdy. The chipping net is great addition.
I love my Spornia net, but once in awhile a ball gets through. The additional side netting helps by cutting down those sneaky mis-shots that could damage the drywall or hit a bird that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even better, it doesn't slow down the easy setup and takedown of the net.
If you have the little extra space, I highly recommend getting the larger net. Coming from the SPG7, I had absolute zero issues, but if you’re going to run a sim, the larger screen space is definitely a game changer! My setup is collapsible, the net is so quick to set up and put away. I just store it up against the wall and the rods in the corner.
Storable and collapsible garage sim set up. Up and down in seconds. All clubs. Drivers full speed. Full sim golf. Perfect size. Deciding I’m going to upgrade to the bigger 8 soon just for sim experience purposes. Perfect for someone who doesn’t have space for a dedicated practice area.
Easy to assemble. I use it outside so I remove the rods and drop it down to avoid high winds and weather. Only takes a minute to get it up again.
It is on the heavy side to carry but excellent quality. Easy to set up and take down. I’m currently using mine in the garage and I put it up and take it down after each session. I use the Rapsodo launch monitor with it.
I have been using the net daily for 2 years. Very sturdy, and catches balls, including with driver at higher speeds. I have hit roughly 17,000 shots, and still in great condition.
Incredible price
Have had several different golf hitting nets but this one puts the others all to shame. It’s higher quality, well designed and works beautifully!! It’s a pleasure to get out and with a little practice easy to put away!
Love this met! It literally takes 5 minutes to setup and take down. It’s sturdy. I hit the jesus out of the ball and the net takes it. Once this one wears out then I’ll definitely buy another one. I’ve already told my friends and neighbors about it since they are amazed at its functionality
I am very pleased with the Spornia golf net. The set up was easy and the ball return is excellent.
The Spornia XL Golf Net is great! It was extremely easy to put together, and the overall quality and construction are excellent. Delivery was quick and everything arrived as expected.
I should also mention that this is actually the second net I’ve purchased from Spornia. I had my first one for a few years and left it outside most of the time. Eventually, the constant exposure to the sun took its toll on the material and it was no longer usable.
If you’re planning on leaving your net outdoors year-round, just keep in mind that the sun and weather will likely shorten its lifespan compared to keeping it indoors or storing it when you’re not using it.
Overall, I’ve had a great experience with both nets, which is why I purchased another one. I’m very happy with the quality and would definitely recommend it.
The Spornia SP-5 is AWESOME. We do not have much extra room in our basement so having a robust practice net with a compact footprint, where I can hit real golf balls at night and through the winter is a game changer. Love this setup.
